Hello, I'm Michael. I'm a Graphic Designer and Illustrator based in Indianapolis, Indiana, where I'm currently working as a freelance designer for local businesses. 

 

I have worked on projects in digital and traditional advertising, designing for clients such as Beckman Coulter, ClarkDietrich, Delta Faucet Company, Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, and Simon Malls. In addition to my experience in advertising and design, I also have experience leading United States Marines in combat as a team leader during the conflicts in Iraq.

I was born and raised in Clarksville, Tennessee near the country music capital of the world: Nashville. When I was 8 years old, I saw the most amazing commercial on television—a sharply dressed U.S. Marine slaying a dragon. Completely amazed by this, from that moment on my life goal was to become a United States Marine. I achieved this goal with 4 years of honorable service.

 

As I got older, that same commercial also showed me something else—the power of advertising—the ability to create something so powerful that it alters a persons life. Although I have taken different paths and overcome many obstacles to get to where I am today, the goal remains the same: to produce great work and to create something that inspires others to find and follow their dreams.
